Clare Henderson comes to the Conservation Council from a strong environmental 
background. She most recently worked with the Environmental Defender’s Office (ACT), the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition and the Department of Regional Australia. 

She has over 20 years experience working with 
environment NGOs, including Friends of the Earth, and Greenpeace to name a few. Clare has also worked in Federal, State and Local government as well as several local 
Members of the Legislative Assembly.


Clare has been involved with the Conservation Council previously – including as Interim 
director in 2003 for several months, as a Board member on several occasions, as an 
active participant in a member group – the Campaign for a Nuclear Free Future, as well as organising the cooking of two World Environment Day dinners which were major fundraisers for the Council. 

Susanna Chung

Susanna has worked in the environmental movement for over five years. She has a background in media analysis and journalism and holds a Communications degree with Honours in politics. Susanna has a strong passion for sustainability and the environment.

Robyn Coventry
Finance Officer

Robyn Coventry comes from a varied background that has included managing  the finaces and administration of  various small businesses in the retail and finacial sectors, teaching English in Japan, and travel to many of the world's - and Australia's - great wild places.
