About ACTNow: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The ACTNow: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle project is about conscious consumption, waste minimisation and creative action for a cleaner, healthier and waste free Canberra.

The project aims to work with local businesses and community members through a number of workshops and events, focusing on improving waste management practices.

The ACTNow Waste Network has been established, as part of the ACTNow project. The Network was launched on 30 April 2009 by Mr Simon Corbell MLA, the Minister for the Environment, Water and Climate Change, Minister for Energy.

The Network facilitates information sharing and encourages improved waste management (i.e. waste reduction, recycling and composting) in ACT commercial and business operations. Visit the ACTNow Waste Network webpage for more information.
