Canberra ♥ 40%

This year the ACT Government will decide on a target for CO2 emission reduction for 2020. They are considering cuts between 25% and 40%.

Canberra ♥ 40% is a group of community organisations and concerned Canberra residents who believe that the ACT should lead Australia and commit to a cut of at least 40% based on 1990 levels. Our Government needs to hear from us so they can step forward with this ambitious but achievable target . With our children’s climate at stake, anything less than a 40% cut is insufficient.
