2011 Trivia Night

Thanks to all your help we have raised a total of $4,600 which will go towards our BioMap project which will provide a mapping service of endangered plants and animals in the ACT Region.

The aim of BioMap is to provide members with access to data showing endangered species habitat and ecological communities across the ACT. At present, much of this information is held in different datasets and is not easy for our members to access.

The project will provide a valuable resource for the wider community in terms of producing critical biodiversity and development constraint maps. We hope that these maps will soon become available for viewing and printing through a new facility at our offices at the edge of the ANU.
