At the midpoint of the Copenhagen climate talks late last year, over 2,500 Canberrans walked to show their
concern about climate change. A total of 100,000
Australians nationally were involved in last year’s Walk Against Warming.
Since then how far or how little have we as Australians come to tackle climate change?
Where does Australia stand in the climate change debate? Paul Pollard examines and explains the differences between the many solutions that are being proposed to deal with climate change including the CPRS, an Emissions Trading Scheme, and a Carbon Tax.
Paul will also talk about what happened at Copenhagen and comment on what Australia needs to do in order to tackle climate change.
